Registered Charity No: SC02298 (Scotland).
Worldwide Cancer Research is the only UK charity funding pioneering discovery research into any type of cancer, anywhere in the world.
We fund research that has the greatest potential to make a difference to our understanding of cancer and pave the way for future transformational medical advances. The research we fund has no geographical boundaries and we have scientists fighting cancer somewhere in the world 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
That's an average of over 1,200 hours of cancer research happening each and every day in the fight against cancer.
Over the last 36 years our international committee of eminent scientists - specialists in their respective fields - has funded almost £200 million worth of ground-breaking research across more than 30 countries.
We have been instrumental in significant advances in cancer research and no one else does what we do. Our role is vital but we receive no government funding and rely solely on the donations of our generous supporters and the general public.
This cutting-edge research is only possible through the generosity of people like you. Last year, we were able to fund eight cancer research projects across the world last year, lasting up to three years each, because of gifts left in Wills to our charity.
If you believe in funding pioneering research, no matter where in the world it occurs, please consider a gift to Worldwide Cancer Research in your Will, once you've taken care of your loved ones. Imagine if a gift, made in your name and in your memory, led to the next big breakthrough?
