Registered Charity No: 207005 (England & Wales).
Sussex Wildlife Trust is a conservation charity for everyone who cares about nature in Sussex.
With more than 35,000 members, the Trust owns or manages nearly 5,000 acres of land in over 30 nature reserves. Some of the finest wild places in Sussex, these nature reserves include ancient woodlands, heathlands, downlands, reedbeds, grazing marshes and coastal sites.
The Trust advises and works with landowners, local communities, schools and individuals on how to manage rural and urban areas of Sussex. It is also an important information centre for habitat, wildlife and conservation issues in Sussex. Each year over 10,000 children and young people spend a day with the Trust learning about nature. The Trust also runs an active programme of events and courses.
A legacy to Sussex Wildlife Trust will improve the countryside for the benefit of wildlife in Sussex and the enjoyment of future generations.
