For over 200 years, the Gurkhas have stood alongside us – having taken a vow to defend Britain. Whether in the desert or the jungle, the trenches or the beaches, they have fought with us to defend our shared values of freedom and justice.
Today, elderly Gurkha veterans and their widows are living with complex medical needs, in desperately impoverished communities in Nepal. As the leading charity for Gurkha welfare, The Gurkha Welfare Trust is supporting Gurkha ex-servicemen and their families through the provision of financial, medical and community aid, primarily in Nepal but also in the UK. Our work is only possible because of our generous supporters; a fifth of our income comes from gifts in Wills from people like you.
Gurkhas fought with us to protect the values of freedom and justice that we cherish. We owe them so much, and with your gift you can protect their futures and the future of their communities too. What finer way to reply the debt of honour to these brave men who fought for the security we all enjoy today?
They fought for our future. With a gift in your Will, you can fight for theirs.
