Registered Charity No: 1133333 (England & Wales).
Inspiring young people, often from under-privileged backgrounds, to develop their full potential.
We invite you to support the Friends’ commitment to this regional cadet force (1200 cadets aged 13-18) where the excellence of the adult volunteers was recognized by The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services in 2013.
This regional cadet movement, part of a national organization, has an excellent track record in providing training and education in good citizenship for young people in Staffordshire and the West Midlands and assisting the cadets, through their leisure-time activities, to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacity.
The Friends’ charity provides flexible funding to ensure that even the most under-privileged cadets can participate in the variety of challenging activities on offer.
We recognize of course that family and friends should always come first when making a will but once that has been taken care of adequately you will, we hope, see merit in making a legacy to the Friends. The Friends’ trustees (see Charity Commission website) are volunteers such that the full amount of any gift will be available to the Staffordshire and West Midlands Cadets. We thank you in anticipation of your support and encouragement.
