Registered Charity No. 279354 (England and Wales).

ETO believe that opera is for everyone. Each year, we bring live opera to more of the UK than any other company, visiting over 100 theatres, schools, libraries and arts centres, and reaching more than 50,000 people. We annually commission new operas for children in addition to our rich artistic programme that sees imaginative seasons of rarities staged alongside well-loved classics.

In opera, the legacy of great artists reaches long, from Monteverdi’s Orfeo (staged by ETO in 2006) to Benjamin Britten’s Paul Bunyan (staged by ETO in 2014) via Puccini’s La bohème (staged by ETO in 2015) and continues to move audiences today. Consider playing your part by making a gift that will help ETO continue creating productions that inspire and entertain audiences around the UK for generations to come.

“It gives me enormous pleasure to think that, long after I’m gone, my legacy will play an important role in the work ETO does."
