Registered Charity No: The British Red Cross Society, incorporated by Royal Charter 1908, is a charity registered in England & Wales (220949), Scotland (SC037738) and Isle of Man (0752).
The Red Cross has been helping people in crisis for over 150 years, whoever and wherever they are. We are part of a global voluntary network of over 17 million volunteers in 191 countries, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies.
When disaster strikes anywhere in the world, our dedicated volunteers are already there on the ground, ready to provide essential life-saving practical and emotional support to those in need. Our emergency response doesn’t just last a few weeks to help people survive the crisis. We stay for as long as it takes to help rebuild their lives and prepare for the future. Because the Red Cross is a symbol of neutrality which is respected across the world, the international Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement can cross front lines that others can’t, to provide food supplies and medical support to those affected by conflicts.
By leaving a gift in your will to the British Red Cross you can help ensure that, whatever disasters and emergencies happen in the future, the Red Cross will be there to save and change lives.
