Registered Charity No: 1177106 (England & Wales).

ACT is a long-established charity helping actors’ children in times of family crisis or hardship. ACT gives more than £400,000 in grants each year, alongside casework and advocacy.

ACT’s impact continues to grow, handled by only two fulltime staff and a committee of actors. Funding includes special needs support, creative and sporting activities, clothing, equipment, mental health support and emergency childcare.

Most UK actors earn much less than the national average. ACT enables parents to stay in the profession they love.

ACT has been honoured to receive legacies from Noel Coward, Edith Evans, Richard Attenborough, John Gielgud and many who love the theatre. These gifts have enabled our far-reaching work today, and with your support we can continue.
