Registered Charity No: 1150541 (England & Wales).
We provide entertainment and recreation for the serving wounded, injured or sick and for ex-service men and women with disabilities.
We do this through a tailored programme of outings, holidays, concerts, activities and events, as well as through the provision of televisions and TV licences. Serving personnel and veterans of all ages, from all Services both Regular and Reserve, may be eligible for our support.
Our aims are to:
• Offer comfort and enjoyment to those who may be solitary, isolated or frail.
• Enable veterans of all ages to meet and experience the camaraderie they once knew, to renew
old acquaintances and make new friends.
• Provide younger injured servicemen and women with challenging activities which assist with their
physical and mental recovery.
We do not receive any guaranteed funding, nor do we have the resources for formal fundraising and therefore rely on the support and generosity of those who recognise the value of our work.
Legacies and donations help us to provide support to some 10,000 serving and ex-service men and women each year. They are crucial to ensuring that those who continue to suffer as a result of service to their country are not forgotten.
